Abstract
The objective of the research are to identify the types, functions, and forms of speech act used by English education students in the teaching-learning process through the zoom cloud meeting application. The researcher used descriptive qualitative research. The research subject is the seventh semester of English education students. The research instruments were observation and interview. The result of the research was found three types, five functions, and two forms of speech acts used by English education students in the teaching-learning process. There were seven utterances (27%) of the locutionary act, fourteen utterances (54%) of the illocutionary act, and five utterances of the perlocutionary act. There were fifty-one utterances (52%) of assertive, nineteen utterances (19%) of directive, twenty two utterances (23%) of expressive, one utterance (1%) of commissive, and five utterances (5%) of declaration. There were twelve utterances (71%) of direct speech act and five utterances (29%) of indirect speech act.
