Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the management of Islamic boarding schools in addressing bullying in Islamic boarding schools in Deli Serdang District. This includes understanding the planning conducted by the boarding schools in addressing bullying in Deli Serdang District, the organizing efforts made by the boarding schools to address bullying, the implementation of strategies to address bullying, the control measures implemented by the boarding schools, as well as identifying the factors causing bullying and the obstacles encountered in addressing bullying in the boarding schools of Deli Serdang District. This research adopts a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation based on predetermined criteria. The data obtained were analyzed through data collection, datareduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and data verification. The findings of this study are as follows: The management of the boarding schools in addressing bullying involves strategic steps, such as separating dormitories based on specific criteria, implementing a "Father Sponsor" program, collaborating with the local police to raise awareness and discuss bullying from a legal perspective, improving and enforcing rules and regulations related to bullying, installing and utilizing CCTV cameras for 24-hour surveillance of student activities, instilling Islamic values in teachers and students, and providing guidance to student organizations (Munazhomah Santri). Each step and strategy is implemented through the processes of planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling to achieve the intended objectives. Additionally, the factors contributing to bullying behavior in Islamic boarding schools in Deli Serdang District include power dynamics and hierarchy within the schools, social incompatibility, influence of the external environment, diversity in backgrounds, lack of understanding of the consequences of bullying, desire for more respect, and dissatisfaction or non�acceptance of the situation. The obstacles in addressing bullying in the boarding schools of Deli Serdang District include a lack of fear from the perpetrators, reluctance of victims to report incidents due to shame, insufficient and ineffective sanctions, and the time�consuming process of instilling Islamic values
