Abstract

Stasiun pengisian bahan bakar umum merupakan lokasi yang memiliki potensi yang tinggi untuk terpapar oleh kebisingan dikarenakan letaknya berada didekat jalan raya, dimana kebisingan dapat mempengaruhi para pekerja. Tujuan untuk penelitian yakni agar mengetahui hubungan kebisingan ditempat kerja dengan stress kerja pada karyawan SPBU Kecamatan Medan Area. Desain penelitian ini yaitu cross sectional dengan jumlah populasi 32. Teknik saat mengambil sample penelitian yaitu dengan menggunakan total sampling. Alat ukur yang dipergunakan untuk dapat mengetahui tingkat kebisingan adalah sound level meter dan juga kuesioner dibagikan untuk melihat tingkat gangguan pendengaran akibat paparan kebisingan. Uji yang di pakai didalam penelitian yaitu analisis bivariat dengan memakai uji chi square. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan terdapat hubungan antara kebisingan dengan stres kerja pada karyawan SPBU Kecamatan Medan Area dengan nilai P value 0,002 yang dimana lebih kecil dari nilai alpa 0,05. Kesimpulan untuk penelitian ini yaitu terdapat hubungan diantara kebisingan ditempat kerja dengan stres kerja pada karyawan SPBU Kecamatan Medan Area.

Uncontrolled Keywords:	The public gas station is a high potential location as it is located on a highway which may affect workers. The purpose of this research is to find out the connection between job and job stress for employees of petrol stations in the Medan district and the surrounding area. The type used in this study is a quantitative type with an analytical character through a cross-sectional approach with a total population of 32 people in this study. The measuring tools used to determine the levels in the production department are sound level meters and questionnaires that are distributed to see the hearing loss due to the incident. The test used in bivariate analysis is the chi-square test. The results of the study indicate that there is an association with job stress among gas station attendant employees in the Medan district with a P-value of 0.002, which is less than 0.05.
