Abstract

The purpose of this research is to compare the students’ interest in learning English Vocabulary between dictionary book and dictionary website. The research is designed as a quantitative descriptive method. The population of this research is 8 th grade students of SMP Al Washliyah in 2022/2023 academic year. It consisted of 1 class that is VIII-C. This research used purposive sampling technique in deciding the sample. The samples were 24 students. Data collection technique with questionnaire. Data analysis processing used percentage formula. The result of this study from descriptive analysis test revealed that (1) the reability score of learning English vocabulary using dictionary book is 3,2783 (2) the reability score of learning English vocabulary using dictionary website is 6,572. Thus, the students’ interest in learning English vocabulary between dictionary book and dictionary website has a significant difference.
