Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of biology learning media using the Camtasia application developed in the form of learning videos on human circulatory system material. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method, with the ADDIE model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The instruments used were media and material expert validation sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, and multiple-choice tests to assess student effectiveness. The development of biology learning media using the camtasia application on human circulatory system material is considered very valid, with a total average of 0.83 in each aspect and in material validation gets an average value of 0.58. Human circulatory system material used in biology learning media with the Camtasia application was assessed practically with a score of 29.04 based on teacher and student response questionnaires with a practical score of 31.43. A total of 34 students out of 91% of students obtained an average score of >80 who had completed multiple-choice questions on the material of the human circulatory system. This shows that students are able to achieve complete scores with a total average score of 79.1 so that in this case it is said to be effective. This research shows that biology learning media meet the requirements of valid, practical, and effective. So it is expected to be used as a learning resource
