Abstract
This study aims to determine (1) the development of domino card learning media in class III fraction material (2) Validation of the feasibility of developing domino card learning media in class III fraction material (3) Practicality of developing domino card learning media in class III fraction material (4) The effectiveness of developing domino card learning media in class III fraction material at SD Negeri 112311 Marbau. The method in this study uses a development model popularized by Thiagarajan, namely the 4D model (Define, Design, Development, and Dissemination). The research procedure for the development of the 4D model is carried out using the scope of research and development of the level 3 of the existing 4 levels of novelty. Subjects for field trials are all grade III SD Negeri 112311 Marbau. The subjects of the operational research development field trial were all third grade students of SD Negeri 112311 Marbau. The results of this study indicate that (1) This research is based on the results of problem identification through previous research literatures. Based on the literature review, there are too many results showing that domino learning media provides effective results, especially in helping students understand mathematics lessons on fractions. From the results of the analysis of the validation sheet of material experts and media experts, it shows that the domino props are feasible to use because they meet the valid criteria with 100% results (3) The results of the practicality test of DOMAPEN learning media conducted during the limited trial by the teacher showed a score of 88% including into the "Very Practical" criteria and during the main field trial, it showed a score of 94% included in the "Very Practical" criteria. Meanwhile, the students showed a score of 95% which was included in the "Very Practical" criteria and during the main field trial, the score of 93% was included in the "Very Practical" criteria. (4) The results of the DOMAPEN learning media effectiveness test conducted in a limited trial showed a score of 75.6% which was included in the "High" category. And the main field trial showed a score of 77.8% which was included in the "High" category.
