Abstract
This study aims to find out what difficulties are faced by students in mastering vocabulary about daily activities, and what factors are supporting students' vocabulary mastery. As well as how students overcome their difficulties in mastering vocabulary about daily activities. The informants in this study were the English teacher and four students. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings of this study that there are several difficulties for students in mastering vocabulary, namely difficult to diffcult to remember, diffcult to interpret, difficult to pronounce. From the students’ difficulties on vocabulary mastery about daily activity, the researcher finds there were the supporting factor namely the factor of teacher, environment and facility. And then students have the strategy to solve their difficulties, namely memorization strategy, learning media strategy, and guessing strategy.
