Abstract
The research that has been conducted entitled” The effect of E-learning on students’ motivation in learning English at SMK Swasta Islam Proyek UISU Siantar”. E-learning is an effective learning process that is produced by combining digital delivery of material consisting of support and services in learning. The use of E-learning is used as a form of modern learning that can be done without meeting face to face or face to face. Learning using e-learning is expected to increase students' motivation in learning so that students are able to develop knowledge more creatively and can expand knowledge by seeking information related to lessons and others. The purpose of this research is knowing the effect of E-learning on students’ motivation in learning English at SMK Swasta Islam Proyek UISU. The research used is quantitative approach and the analytical techniques used are questionnaires and documentation. The sample used in this research was X RPL 2 which consist of 25 students.The result of the research is there is no significant effect of e-learning learning on SMK Swasta Islam Proyek UISU students' learning motivation. This can be seen from the results of data calculations which show that the significance level = (0.511 > 0.05). This means that the existence of e-learning does not affect students' learning motivation in learning English in SMK Swasta Islam Proyek UISU.
