Abstract
This research aimed to find out the using of macromedia flash to increase the students ability in mastering degree of comparison. The subject of this research was the tenth grade students of SMK Raudlatul Uluum -2 Aek Nabara. They were 35 students . The object of this research was to increase the students’ ability in mastering degree of comparison by using macromedia flash. This research of this study was applied classroom action Research (CAR). The technique for collecting data anlysis were the qualitative and quantitative data. The qualitative data were taken from interview, observation, and diary notes. The quantative data were taken from the means of the students’ score in taking test in class. The researcher was conducted in one class with 35 samples. It was accomplished in two cycles . Each cycle consist of four steps of action research (planning, action, observation, and reflection). The first cycle was conducted in two meetings . The second cycle conducted in two meetings. The test was given to the students in form of pre test, post test in first cycle, and the post test in the second cycle. The result of the data analysis showed that there was an improvement on the students ability in mastering degree of comparison. It showed from the mean of pre test was 47,28 the mean of post test I was 65,85 and post test II was 84,85. The percentage of the students’ score in pre test who got up to 65 there were only 3 of 35 students’ (8,57%), and the percentage of the students’ score in post test I who got up to 65 were 18 of 35 students’ (51,42%). It means that there was the improvement about 42,85%. Then the percentage of the students score in post test II who got up to 65 were 33 of 35 students’ (94,28%). It means that there was the improvement about 42,86%. The total increasing of the students’ score from the pre test until post test II was 85,71%. In other words, the students were become better in the first meeting until the last meeting. It indicated that the using of macromedia flash can increasing the students’ ability in mastering degree of comparison and the teaching learning can be effective.
