Abstract

This study investigates "The Effect of Native Speaker Video on Student Pronunciation at SMAS An-Nizam Medan." The research aims to assess how exposure to Native speaker videos influences students' pronunciation abilities at SMAS An-Nizam in Medan. The study utilizes a quantitative approach, employing a homogeneity test to analyze the impact of the intervention. The results reveal a significant improvement in students' pronunciation skills following exposure to Native speaker videos compared to those without such exposure.The findings validate the hypothesis that the Native speaker video has a significant effect on enhancing students' pronunciation. This suggests the importance of integrating authentic audiovisual resources into language learning environments to foster accurate and natural speech patterns. However, the study acknowledges the need for further research to delve into the precise mechanisms through which the Native speaker video influences pronunciation.The study's outcomes contribute to the body of knowledge on effective language teaching methodologies, emphasizing the relevance of incorporating innovative techniques such as Native speaker videos. Educators can use these insights to refine their strategies for improving students' pronunciation proficiency. Overall, this research highlights the positive impact of Native speaker videos in the context of SMAS An-Nizam Medan and offers implications for language education practices.
