Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out: (1) Stages of Development ofIslamic Education with environmental insight in SMPS Generasi Bangsa MedanLabuhan.(2)FeasibilityofdevelopingenvironmentallyfriendlyIslamicEducati on at SMPS Generasi Bangsa Medan Labuhan. (3) The practicality ofdevelopingIslamicEducationwithanenvironmentalperspectiveatSMPSGenerasi Bangsa Medan Labuhan. (4) The effectiveness of teaching materials forthedevelopmentofIslamicReligiousEducationwithanenvironmentalperspective atSMPSGenerasiBangsaMedanLabuhan. TheresearchmethodusedistheResearchandDevelopmentMethod(R&D)with theADDIEapproachdevelopedbyRobertMaribeBranchwhichisan extension of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation.The subject in this study is grade IX students of SMPS Generasi Bangsa MedanwhiletheobjectofthisresearchistheabilitytodevelopIslamicReligiousEducatio nteachingmaterialswithenvironmentalinsight.Datacollectioninstrumentsareobserva tion,interviews,questionnaires,tests,anddocumentation. The results showed: (1) The development of teaching materials is firstcarried out by performance analysis and need analysis, then carry out the designstage.Productsproducedaslearningmediaareusedtofacilitatestudentsinlearnin g. (2) The feasibility of teaching materials is carried out by validation bymaterialexpertswithapercentageof80.2%inthecategoryofquitevalid,validation by design experts obtained a percentage of 77.1% also in the validcategory, so that the average score of the overall percentage is 78.7%, with thecategory valid.(3) The practicality of themodule was carried out with limitedtests (trials in the small�scale scope) with a percentage gain of 82.4% in the verypractical category, and field tests (trials in a broad scale scope) with a percentageof 87.9% in the very practical category. So that the overall average percentagescore is 85.2%, with a very practical category. (4) The effectiveness of teachingmaterials in improving student learning outcomes obtained a normalized gain (N�Gain)scoreof0.55,whichisinthe effectivecategory.
