Abstract

The research that has been conducted is entitled "Teacher Creativity in Creating Learning Media in Geography Subjects at An-Nizam High School," whose background is that the creativity of this geography teacher in making learning media is still relatively simple. Geography teachers more often make audiovisual learning media or learning videos made of media products which are also encouraged by school facilities that provide projectors in each class. This research methodology uses descriptive research using a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were geography teachers at An-Nizam School and students. The data collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews and documentation. Steps to analyze data with data reduction, presenting data and concluding. To test the validation of the data is done by triangulating the data. The results of the study revealed that (1) learning media made by geography teachers, namely: there were 2 types of learning media made, product and audiovisual media that used a video editing application. b. The creativity of geography teachers in making media products is still lacking in skills. This can be seen from the teacher giving assignments to students to make products from learning materials that the teacher has not made. (2) The application of learning media made by the geography teacher at An-Nizam Senior High School is in accordance with the learning materials and the learning media. (3) Students' interest in learning media made by geography teachers students are interested because there is a stimulus from students by asking and paying attention to learning media.
