Abstract
hThis research was conducted to know the effect of applying the effect of of two stay two stray strategy on students’ reading comprehension descriptive text at MTs Al- Ikhwan Serapuh Abc. The population of this research was taken from the students seventh grade of MTs Al- Ikhwan Serapuh ABC,mWhich consist of two classes. The total number of students in each group, twenty (20) students for experimental group and the other twenty (20) students for control group. The experimental group was taught by two stay two stray strategy while the control group was taught without using by two stay two stray strategy. The researcher used a reading test to collect the data. The test consisted of two types, namely pre- test and post-test. The data were analyzed by using t-test formula. After analyzing the data, the result of the research showed that the value of t-observed was higher than the value of t-table (6,500> 1.684) at the level significance of α = 0,05 and at the degree of freedom (df) = 38. It can be concluded that applying peer response technique has significant effect on students’ reading comprehension descriptive or in other words the alternative hypothesis (Ha)) was accepted..
