Abstract

This research methodology using the Quantitative Method. The test with Pre-test and Post-test and Interview. The subjects of this study were students of class VII-C MTs PP. Tarbiyah Islamiyah Hajoran for the 2022/2023 academic year and consists of 37 students. The data analysis technique used is quantitative data. Quantitative data is taken from the test, the test consists of pre-test and post-test and through interviews. The results of data analysis were calculated through the SPSS.20 software application. The results of data analysis showed that there was an increase in students' vocabulary skills after the application of the use of wordlist and translation in English song. In the pre-test the average student was 58.11 and students who passed the KKM were 8 students out of 38 students or 21.6%. In the post-test the average student was 77.43 and students who passed the KKM were 28 students out of 37 students or 75.7%. And based on the interview sheet, students were active and enjoyed participation and feedback during the teaching and learning process. Based on the findings of the above researcher, the student’ vocabulary skills improved with the use of Wordlist and Translation in English Song.
