Abstract

The title of this research is “ The Impact of Blended Learning on Student’s Speaking Ability at MAN 2 LABURA”. The researcher took the data from MAN 2 LABURA with doing observation and also interview. The researcher use qualitative descriptive method to describe the detail about the impact of Blended Learning on student’s speaking ability. To find out the result of analysed that had conducted and describe the impact of Blended Learning on student’s speaking ability, the instrumen that researcher used in this researcher are observation, interview and documentation. Researcher took two palces to do observation because blended learning has two learning style, offlin eand online. The first observation took place at school especially school’s garden, and then the second took place at student’s house because they do offline learning. After the researcher analysing the data about the impact of Blended Learning on students’s speaking ability and it was ; students did not have partner to speak English, the assignments and exercises given are not enough to improve student’s speaking, students lack in motivation to speak English, missing or lack memorized vocabularies, students are not focussed on studying and there is no increase or even decrease on grade and learning process for students. Blended Learning have negative impact on their speaking ability, especially when they doing Blended Learning.
