Abstract

Project-based learning using Google Classroom is something that must be considered in the pandemic era, especially in teaching and learning. Therefore, this study aims to determine students' perceptions of project-based learning using Google Classroom in learning English. The method in this study uses qualitative descriptive. The data analysis procedure of this research was followed by Miles and Hubermen in 2014 which included data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The research was conducted from 5 male students and 5 female students through purposive sampling method. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation and in-depth interviews with open-ended questions. The results of this study show how students benefit from making it easier to receive learning materials, learn to use technology and develop skills. Then this study also shows shortcomings, namely students feel less understanding in learning, feel less interaction between teachers and students and cause students to be more passive in learning. Based on their responses to project-based learning using Google Classroom in learning English, this finding is expected to help teachers pay more attention to the process of teaching and learning methods in English.
