Abstract

Spiritual Intelligence gives meaning to worship in every behavior and activity, through natural steps and thoughts, towards a complete human being, and has a monotheistic mindset, and has the principle "only because of Allah’. But if you pay attention in this day and age which is always changing and where technology will become a god who can take every individual wherever they want, Who has blinded many people so that they put religion aside. So this is what makes researchers want to know what spiritual intelligence is instilled by teachers and how teachers instill spiritual intelligence in students who are still in junior high school. The research method used in this study is qualitative research with phenomenological appproach. The data were gathered through interview s with 4 informants, 1 English teacher at MTS Swasta Al-Azis as key information, 3 students as supporting informants and class observations and supported by documentation. The data of this study were analysed using data analysing model by Miles, Huberman, and Saldana (2018). from the analyzed data instilling spiritual intelligence to students in teaching English writing, namely the teacher instilling spiritual intelligence by requiring students to (1) reaciting prayer, (2)being honest, (3) say greetings, (4) include verses of the Qur'an in a material.
