Abstract
This study was aimed to find out: 1) the online strategies used by EFL teacher in overcoming students foreign language anxiety, 2) how the strategies were realised and 3) the reason of why the strategies were realised in the way they were. This research was carried out by using qualitative research with phenomenological approach. The data were gathered through interview with 4 informants and classroom observation. The data of this study were analysed qualitatively using data analysing model by Miles, Huberman, and Saldana (2018). From the data analysis, it was revealed that there were six strategies that the EFL teacher used in lowering students’ FLA. They were: (1) coming ticket, (2) using games by utilising zoom annotating feature, (3) giving help and chance for each student, (4) motivating and encouraging students, (5) employing pair work, and (6) adjusting to students’ English level.
