Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) to determine the quality of learning in SMP Al-Hidayah Medan Tembung, (2) to determine the management of facilities and infrastructure in improving the quality of learning in SMP AlHidayah Medan Tembung, (3) to determine factors supporting and in hibiting the management of facilities and infrastructure in improving the quality of learning at SMP Al-Hidayah Medan Tembung. This study uses a qualitative research type. The approach used is a naturalistic approach where the source of the data obtained is based on a reasonable situation as it is. Data collection techniques used are interviews, field observations and documentation studies. There were three informants, namely the principal, the deputy for facilities and infrastructure, and the teacher. For the validity of the research data used credibility, transferability, dependability, dan confirmability. The results of this study revealed three findings, namely: (1) the quality of learning in SMP Al-Hidayah Medan Tembung, (2) management of facilities and infrastructure in improving the quality of learning in SMP Al-Hidayah Medan Tembung, (3) supporting factors and inhibiting management facilities and infrastructure in improving the quality of learning at SMP Al-Hidayah Medan Tembung. The research that has been done can be concluded that in improving the quality of learning, it is very necessary to have good management of facilities and infrastructure, and by doing this research can find out the supporting factors and obstacles to the management of facilities and infrastructure in improving the quality of learning. The procurement of learning facilities and infrastructure at SMP Al-Hidayah Medan Tembung has been fulfilled. However, the management is still very lacking. Procurement of facilities and infrastructure at SMP Al-Hidayah Medan Tembung is borne by the deputy head of the field of facilities and infrastructure, procurement is carried out in accordance with planning through needs analysis. However, the procurement cannot be separated from the available budget
