This research was aimed to know whether the students’ ability at constructing by implementing Firing Line Strategy could increase or not. The subject of this research was the third grade at MTs.Al-Washliyah Ismailiyah Medan in 2016/2017 academic year with 40 students. The data of this research were quantitative that taken from the tests and the qualitative data were taken from observation sheet, interview, diary note and documentation. The result of this research showed that there was increasing of students’ ability at constructing conditional sentences. It showed with the mean of the pre-test was 45.87. The mean of the first cycle was 62,50. The mean of second cycle was 79,25. It indicated that the scores and the mean in second cycle were better than the first cycle. In other words, the students’ ability at constructing conditional sentences improved and became well in the first meeting to the next meeting. Based on interview, observation sheet, diary notes and documentation showed that the students’ activity at constructing conditional sentences by implementing firing line strategy was good.
