Abstract
A module is a set of teaching materials that are presented systematically so that they can be used without the assistance of a teacher or facilitator. This research aims to determine the feasibility of a teaching module based on Socio Scientific Inquiry Based Learning (SSIBL) on Environmental Change Material for Class X SMA based on aspects of validity, practicality and effectiveness of the module developed. This research uses the ADDIE development research model. Module validity is obtained from the validation sheet. The validity of the module in the material aspect gets a percentage of 97%, in the media aspect it gets a percentage of 91.6% and in the SSIBL model aspect it gets a percentage of 95%. The practicality of the module is obtained from teacher response questionnaires and student responses. The practicality of the teacher response questionnaire obtained a percentage of 92.5% and the practicality of the student response questionnaire obtained a percentage of 96%. The effectiveness of the module is obtained by pretest and posttest. The effectiveness of the pretest and posttest results obtained an n-Gain value of 0.84 with a percentage of 84%. With these results, the module is declared valid, practical and effective to use. Thus, in the future it is hoped that the module can be used in future learning and research.
