Abstract

The research here was carried out at MTs Islamiyah Tamiang and includes the objectives to examine: 1) to examine the effectiveness of the visionary leadership of the head of MTs Islamiyah Tamiang 2) to examine the process of increasing student creativity at MTs islamiyah tamiang (3) to examine the development of the principal's vision in increasing student creativity at MTs Islamiyah Tamiang 4) to examine what are the challenges and obstacles for the head of Madrasah in increasing the creativity of students. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative, covering data collection using observations, interviews and document studies. After the data was analyzed by examining the creativity of students outside of school learning hours (extracurricular) then conclusions were drawn covering deductive thinking. With several indicators that have been implemented by the head of the Madrasah, such as, (1) The effectiveness of the visionary leadership of the head of Madrasah Islamiyah Tamiang has found a bright spot and has been implemented through the policies that have been made, (2) In the process of improvement, the head of Madrasah makes a policy where every morning there is a morning rally. which is filled with religious learning through speeches, sarhil Al-Qur'an, wirid study club Annisa, Duha prayer and Zuhur prayer in congregation, then in the field of language, namely through Arabic conversation and language conversation, all activities are carried out according to the class schedule except for Congregational prayers include the whole and are routinely carried out every week, (3) In an effort to develop creativity, it cannot be separated from all elements of the madrasa community such as: education staff, school committees, parents of students in determining the future vision in determining the creativity of students and also every year experiencing i development at the beginning of the new school year through reviewing, evaluating and revising the previous vision, then (4) Problems of challenges and obstacles in an effort to increase the creativity of students, the head of madrasa as a visionary leader has a very long journey, where in increasing the creativity of students the need for consideration and very mature thinking considering the economic condition of madrasa iii students, in fact, middle and lower class madrasas and madrasas that are still private, which only rely on BOS funds for funding.
