Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) The effect of managerial ability of madrasah principals on teacher performance in MAS PAB 02 Helvetia, 2) The effect of duty commitment of madrasah principals on teacher performance in MAS PAB 02 Helvetia, 3) The influence of managerial abilities of madrasah principals and task commitment to teacher performance at MAS PAB 02 Helvetia. The method used in this research is quantitative research methods and uses a multiple linear regression research approach. The data were analyzed after processing and analyzing the results of the study so that it can be concluded, namely: 1) The value of R is 0.305 and the result of the coefficient of determination which is the squaring of the R value of 0.093, meaning that the effect of the managerial ability of the principal on teacher performance is 9.3%. Judging from the results of the partial test (t test), the coefficient value (b1) is 0.242. With a significant level of 5%, so it is known that the t count is 0.028, the first hypothesis "There is an Influence of Managerial Ability of Madrasah Principals on Teacher Performance in MAS PAB 02 Helvetia" is accepted. 2) The value of R is 0.493 and the result of the coefficient of determination which is a squaring of the R value of 0.243, meaning that the effect of the managerial ability of the principal on teacher performance is 24.3%. Judging from the results of the partial test (t test), the coefficient value (b1) is 0.395. With a significant level of 5%, so it is known that the t count is 0.001, so the second hypothesis "There is an Influence of Task Commitment on Teacher Performance in MAS PAB 02 Helvetia" is accepted. 3) Testing is carried out simultaneously so that the calculated F value is 9.405> 3.24 and a significance value of F is 0.000 <0.05. In order to obtain a significance value of F <0.05, the third hypothesis reads "There is an Influence of Managerial Ability of Madrasah Principals and Task Commitment on Teacher Performance in MAS PAB 02 Helvetia" is accepted.
