Abstract
This study aims to present the results of students' perceptions of handout as learning media in English class at Grade VIII Mts Darul Mukhlisin . This study used a qualitative descriptive method and data collection using questionnaires and interviews. The questionnaire aims to obtain information related to the research objectives and to find out the answers of the majority of respondents to a statement. At the same time, the interview aims to find out in depth about the use of handout learning media. This research was conducted at Mts Darul Mukhlisin, where data was collected through a questionnaire consisted of 10 statements filled out by 20 students. And interviews with English teacher by giving five questions. The results of this study indicate that students' perceptions of the handout learning media strongly agree. By using handout learning media, students can improve their ability to learn English and make it easier for them to remember learning material because the handout learning media is designed creatively and uniquely by the teacher so that students are more enthusiastic about learning English.
