Abstract
The concept of digital library has long been recognized in library setting as the adoption of information technology to improve the library science. In this article, the author compares the concepts of digital library and hybrid library to avoid misunderstanding and misconception of the two terminologies. Along with the development of the digital library, various terms emerge that refer to digital formats of information resources, such as e-book, and/or e-journal. The author states that the librarian to organize, preserve and provide the information to the users. Finally, the author emphasizes the important role of the librarian in this ‘access era’
