Abstract

Islamic religious guidance is one of the right guidance for those who lack inner peace. Through the guidance of the Islamic religion, a person can achieve inner peace in accordance with Allah's law and be free from drug addictive actions and behavior. The aim of this research is to find out the Islamic religious guidance applied and taught by counselors to drug addict clients who can change themselves to be much better than before. This research method is a type of field research and uses a qualitative approach, namely a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of people's written or spoken words and the behavior observed by the researcher. Carrying out interviews with Islamic religious mentors or counselors who guide drug addict clients through question and answer sessions so that certain results can be obtained. Based on the results of research and the results of interviews conducted, many changes can be seen in clients after they perform istiqomah prayers. The implementation of Islamic religious guidance in teaching prayer to drug addicts at the BNN Deli Serdang Rehabilitation Center provides many benefits and changes in clients, especially in prayer, so that with the implementation of Islamic religious guidance, drug addicts become better individuals and are obedient in praying
