Abstract
Librarian as information manager should be active and ready to confront globalization because developments in information technology have an impact on libraries , librarians and users related information needs . Communities with computer facilities and the Internet can access information easily and quickly . With the change in the behavior of users make the library as a source of information need information technology to manage the library. The role of a librarian a measure whether the information conveyed is beneficial or not , sesuaikah with the needs of the users or visitors to the library
