Abstract

Research has been carried out with the aim of knowing the types of medicinal plants found in Wonosari Village, knowing the uses of medicinal plants used, knowing the types of diseases that can be cured using medicinal plants, knowing how to process medicinal plants, knowing the value of the Index Of Cultural Significance (ICS) of plants. medicine in Wonosari Village. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The object of research is medicinal plants used by the people of Wonosari Village, the subject of this study is community leaders who know about medicinal plants and several Wonosari Village communities. From the results of the study, there were 28 species of medicinal plants belonging to 22 families. There are 6 uses of medicinal plants, the most widely used is as traditional medicine 30%. There are 3 types of disease classification that use medicinal plants as treatment ingredients, namely, non�communicable diseases 68%. There are 5 parts of plants that are most widely used for mixing, namely the leaves by 43%. There are 6 ways of processing medicinal plants, which are mostly done by pounding, which is 43%. There is an ICS value that is often used by the people of Wonosari Village, namely the Curcuma domestica Val plant. has the highest importance value of 90.
