Abstract
Penelitian tindakan kelas dilakukan perbaikan pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 22 Medan pada materi hukum membaca “qalqalah” danra, dengan tujuan : (1) Melakukan perbaikan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam : (2) Meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam : (3) Menumbuhkan respon positif siswa terhadap strategi pembelajaran kooperatif. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 30 orang siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 22 Medan. Tindakan perbaikan pembelajaran dilakukan dalam 2 (dua) siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari beberapa tahapan yaitu : perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Pembelajaran didesain dengan peberapan strategi kooperatif dan diskusi kelompok. Pengupulan data dilakukan dengan tes, observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian diperoleh : (1) Kegiatan motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada pra tindakan menunjukan 60 % tuntas dan 40 % tidak tuntas. (2) Siklus 1 motivasi kategori baik 83,3 %, hasil belajar 80 %, aktivitas siswa rata-rata baik yaitu 3.88 sedangkan aktiviytas guru yaitu 68.6 %. (3) Siklus II Menunjukan hasil motivasi siswa 96.7 %, hasil belajar 96.7 %, aktivitas siswa rata-rata 4.3, respon siswa yang menyatakan sangat setuju sebesar 82.2 %. Peningkatan aktivitas guru dalam pengelolaan pembelajaran dari 68.98 % menjadi 88.6 %, naik sekitar 19.8 % artinya pembelajaran dengan penerapan strategi kooperatif, efektif untuk materi hukum bacaan AlQuran tentang “qalqalah dan ‘ra’ ABSTRACT Nurhayati, 08 PEDI 1402. Student Motivation and Alquran Learning Achivement Improvement Using Cooperative Learning Strategy for Class VIII of State Junior High School 22 Medan. The purpose of this Classroom Action Research which taken for improving student learning of Islamic lesson for class VIII of State Junior High School 22 Medan is: 1)to improve student motivation in Islamic Education lesson, 2) to improve student learning achievement in Islamic Education lesson, 3) to improve student positive responses toward cooperative learning strategy. The subject of the research is 30 student of class VIII of State Junior High School 22 Medan. The action taken in two cycles. Each cycle contains of four stages: planning, action, observation and reflection. The learning designed for cooperative learning and group discussion. To obtain its data, research used three instruments: test, observation and interview. The research found that: 1) student motivation and learning achievement in pre-action indicated 60% of student succeed in learning and 40% did not. 2) at the first cycle, student motivation indicated good level at 83.3% and 80% for learning achievement. Meantime, student activities were good as 3.88 and teacher activities as 68.6%. 3) at the second cycle, research indicated level 96.7% for student motivation, 96.7% for learning achievement, 4.3 for student activities, 82.2% for student positive responses. It is seen an improvement in teacher activity which 68.8% at the first cycle and increased to 88.6%. its improvement is about 19.8%. Based on the research found, it is concluded that cooperative learning strategy is effective for learning Alquran in matter of “qalqalah” and “ra”.
