Abstract

The human development index in 2020 has face a progress eceleration of 0.04%. The reason is that the income per unit population has ecrease as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. This stuy aims to aplly a classification metho that is use as implementation of the Human Development Index in Provinsi Sumatera Utara in 2020 and to understand the accuracy value generated y applying the Support Vector Machine method, namely the Kernel Radial Basic Function (RBF) which produces an accuracy value quited at 79.31% with parameters C = = = = 1, 0,25, 0,1, 0,5    and  = 0,5
