Abstract

The purpose of this research are to know cadre management of traditional boarding school scholars of Raudhatul Ma'arif Cottrung, North Aceh Regency. This research is a qualitative research. Data collection techniques are carried out by interview, observation, documentation study, and triangulation. The sources of data in this study were the leadership of dayah, wadir I, II, and LBM, managerial implementers, executors of dayah, business actors in the dayah, student, and dayah stakeholders. The results showed that the dayah Raudhatul Ma'arif Cottrueng had implemented a cadre of management. This can be seen from the management functions that are applied. The functions include planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring. The planning is done through a formation meeting involving boarding school officials, stakeholders and guests from surrounding community leaders who were presented at the cadre gathering of students at dayah Raudhatul Ma'arif Cottrueng. In the meeting the first thing to be determined was the management of the managerial field in general, namely care for the cadre of students, administration and finance, and infrastructure. Dayah Raudhatul Ma'arif's organization is conducted in a formation meeting by the leadership of the dayah at the beginning of each learning month attended by senior dayah teachers and dayah alumni invited to the event. After the chairman, the ranks are formed in each field. Implementation is carried out by organizing a variety of religious knowledge taught according to the curriculum that has been applied in this institution, namely from the study of the Koran and the study of the yellow book, so that in this teaching and learning process students can become cadres of scholars who are capable and able to take part in the wider community. Supervision is carried out at the day of Raudhatul Ma'arif Cottrueng using several methods, namely, through special instruments, through monthly reports and annual reports. In the supervision of dayah Raudhatul Ma'arif Cottrueng, he supervised through the selection of interests and talents of the students which were seen from the competitions that were attended by students both held on the dayah and outside the dayah.
