Abstract

This method of research is qualitative phenomenology that reveals the problems that occur and find and understand what is hidden behind the problem. The purpose of this research is to analyse guidance and counseling programs, analyze the implementation of information services in the coaching of students discipline and analyze the role of information services in improving student discipline. The result of this study is 1) the guidance and counseling Program that is conducted in MAN 1 Medan is a guidance and counseling program that is completely compliant with the implementation of guidance and counseling services in general. The preparation of the mentoring and counseling programs consist of annual, quarterly, Monthly, weekly, and daily programs. The preparation of this guidance and counseling service program with objectives more fulfilling on the target or target of the implementation of guidance and counseling services. 2) The implementation of information services in the construction of the human discipline of MAN 1 Medan is to provide information including how to divide the time, schedule learning activities, learn effective way, how to choose learning techniques, and information about the Orderly learning. 3) The information service plays a role in raising the discipline of students, which is able to have a profound knowledge and social understanding of each of them. Students understand and then exercise what is his duty and leave all prohibitions. Students understand and can distinguish good behavior and bad behavior, and students learn to control the desires and do things without the warning of others.
