Abstract
The problem in this research is how the application of Islamic counseling in the guidance of monotheism in students MTs Nurul Amal sub-district of Kuala Langkat Regency. This study aims to determine the success of the application of Islamic counseling in the guidance of monotheism in students in MTs Nurul Amal sub-district of Kuala Langkat Regency. Starting from the planning, implementation and evaluation conducted by counseling teachers in MTs Nurul Amal sub-district of Kuala Langkat Regency to students in creating an Islamic atmosphere of guidance in order to achieve the best results possible. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method. Primary data sources are school principals, vice principals, counseling teachers, study subject teachers, and students of MTs Nurul Amal sub-district of Kuala Langkat Regency. In data collection, the method used is observation, interviews and documents. In analyzing data, researchers used qualitative analysis with steps of data exposure, data reduction and conclusion drawing. General findings in this study are the objective conditions of MTs Nurul Amal sub-district of Kuala Langkat Regency. The results of his research are : (1) planning the application of Islami counseling in guidance of monotheism in students MTs Nurul Amal sub-district of Kuala Langkat Regency has been done by a counseling teacher. (2) The implementation of the application of Islamic counseling in the guidance of monotheism in students MTs Nurul Amal sub-district of Kuala Langkat Regency is to use forms of counseling services which include : orientation services, information services, placement and distribution services, learning services, individual counseling services, group counseling services, group counseling services, mediation services and consulting services, and also Islamic counseling, namely : (a) through counsel, (b) through wisdom (bi al-hikmah), (c) through mau’izatul hasanah, (d) through mujadalah, (e) through warning. The pattern of guidance in monotheism that is in MTs Nurul Amal sub-district of Kuala Langkat Regency, namely : oral bil coaching activities, bil coaching activities and bil qolam coaching activities. (3) Evaluation of the application of Islamic counseling in the guidance of monotheism in students of MTs Nurul Amal sub-district of Kuala Langkat Regency is continuously carried vii out in order to achieve better results in increasing monotheism and devotion to Allah Almighty in order to obtain the happiness of life in the world and the hereafter.
