Abstract

This research aims to describe the planning, organizing, implementation and supervision of quality improvement of MTs of State 2 Medan. This research uses a type of descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The source of this research data is the head of Madrasah MTs of State 2 Medan, deputy Chief of Madrasah curriculum, student, and infrastructure, as well as educators in MTs of State 2 Medan. Data collection techniques are conducted through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out by reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions or verifying. The guarantor of data legitimacy by data triangulation, and confirmability. Findings in this study there are four, namely: (1) Planning Education Quality Improvement in MTs of State 2 Medan is a participatory planning, which involves all parties in the Organization with deliberation. (2) Organizing the improvement of education quality in MTs of State 2 Medan is a functional organization, implemented by the breakdown of the entire task, the work to be performed and done by each personnel in the organization of MTs of State 2 Medan in terms of achievement of objectives. (3) Implementation of education Quality improvement in MTs of State 2 Medan by conducting several stages in improving the quality of planning education and arranging the necessary needs, play an active role in initiating and implementing policies made, giving direction and explanation when a program is being implemented and guiding, motivate and evaluate against the sustainability of a program. (4) The supervision of education quality improvement in MTs of State 2 Medan is an internal oversight. Internal supervision is a surveillance conducted by the head of the field in the organization itself.
