Abstract

Elearning is one of the important factors because it can support the quality of learning if utilized maximally will provide maximum results as well. Therefore it is very interesting to study the effect of elearning on the quality of learning of UINSU Medan Library Science students. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an effect of elearning on the learning quality of UINSU Medan Library Science students. The discussion of this research relates to the field of science regarding elearning and quality of learning. In connection with that the approach taken is theories related to elearning and quality of learning. This research method is quantitative descriptive analysis research. The number of samples was 83 respondents. The data collection method in this study uses a questionnaire. Data analysis used validity test descriptive statistics and simple linear regression analysis. Data processing is done with the help of SPSS Version 23 Software. Based on the results of a hypothesis test, the results of the t test are tcount> t table or 8.333> 1.989 with a significant level below 0.05 which is 0.000. Thus the conclusion is that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a positive and significant influence between the elearning variable on quality. Based on the results of the coefficient of determination (R2) shows the R2 value of 0.462 = 46.2%. This shows that the percentage of elearning contributions to the quality of learning of UINSU Medan Library Science students was 46.2% and the remaining 53.8% was influenced by other independent variables not discussed in this study.
