Abstract
This study aims to find out how is the planning and the implementation and what are the supporting factors and barriers to the effectiveness of learning Religious Education in SDIT Langsa. The method used inthis study is the description method, the data obtained from informants were selected purposively, including those directly involved in learning at SDIT in Langsa City such as the principal. The techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation that researchers are directly involved in.From the research it can be seen that the PAI learning planning process is carried out by PAI teachers, starting with preparing teaching devices such as syllabus and lesson plans and learning media in accordancewith the material to be taught. Then the implementation of SDIT religious learning in Langsa City uses demonstration methods and direct practices especially for jurisprudence and moral material in PAI subjects. So that students will more easily remember the material that has been given, and then students can apply it in their daily lives. The supporting factors and barriers to the learning effectiveness of SDIT Religious Education in Langsa City are: Supporting factors include, a conducive atmosphere in the school environment which includes the availability of infrastructure to carry out religious activities or can be said to create a religious environment in schools, community participation and family who actively help the PAI learning process especially when students are at home or in the middle of the community. Inhibiting factors include, families who do not play an active role in assisting PAI learning, the community environment that does not play an active role in assisting PAI learning especially whenstudents are in the community, friends are likely to invite negative things, and misused technological progress.
