Abstract

This article describe about how to improve the quality of the college library. Quality of the library can be interpreted as an achievement of which is done through a series of processes, both in the short-term activities and long-term. The process of creating a series of quality libraries can be specified in three ways, namely attention to the quality of input, process and context of quality and outcome quality. Viewed as a means of quality inputs perncapaian have the mental preparation, a process supported services and customized to the needs of the user so that in the end may result in outcomes as product of the previous series. Furthermore, to improve the quality of university libraries at least require specific strategies, with the expectation that the goal planned to be achieved effectively and efficiently. Specific strategies are, among others: strategic planning, implementation of the principles of a learning organization, and oriented to customer satisfaction and quality requirements by preparing pemustaka collection, human resources, service, commitment and support staff sufficient funds
