Abstract
The aim of this research is to show the effect of crazy professor reading game on the students‟ reading comprehension which was observed and analyzed from students of eight graders at eighth graders of MTsN Lubuk Pakam. The method applied in this study was experimental research design. The population of this study was the students at eight grade of MTsN Lubuk Pakam. This study was conducted with two groups, namely experimental and control class. After treatment, the researcher gave the post-test to both of classes. The score of post- test were collected from reading test. After the calculated by using t-test formula,the finding of this research shows that the CPR game is effective in teaching reading. The experimental class was taught by CPR and the control class was without. The instrument of this research is reading test, the data was analyze by using t-test formula. The result of calculating the t-test shows that tobserved is higher than ttable. It shows that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. So, it means that there is a significant effect of CPR game on the students‟ reading comprehension
