Abstract

Education is one of the key factors in the formation of a person's character and morals, the rapid development of the times demands an increase in the quality of education, not only in the academic aspect but also in the formation of individual character and morals, the importance of educational character in the educational process is increasingly evident, moral challenges and ethics faced by society today. Character education management is a relevant concept to be implemented in the world of education. This research aims to describe how to plan character education in moral training for students at MTs Mamiyai Al Ittihaddiyah Medan Area, to find out how character education is implemented in moral training for students at MTs Mamiyai Al Ittihaddiyah Medan Area, to find out how to evaluate character education in moral training for students at MTs Mamiyai Al Ittihaddiyah Medan Area. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach to obtain data regarding planning, implementation and evaluation of educational character. The subjects in this research were the principal, deputy principal, teacher and several students at MTs Mamiyai Al Ittihaddiyah Medan Area, with data collection techniques obtained through observation, interviews and documentation with the data analysis techniques used being data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions.The findings in this research indicate that MTs Mamiyai Al Ittihaddiyah Medan Area in the process of planning educational character in student moral training has been carried out well in terms of preparing and designing school activities and programs to instill educational character in students. In implementing the implementation of character education in the moral training of students, it has been said to be good in carrying out previously planned programs. Some of the programs in this school include morning assembly activities and reading juz amma together every day, midday prayer activities in congregation, muhadharah every Saturday. and yasinan on Fridays and many more of course. The evaluation process is carried out routinely by the school both in supervision within the school and outside the school
