Abstract
The background of this research is that many students are found with low learning skills. This is indicated by their attitude of not caring when the teacher explains, telling stories in the middle of the lesson, not taking notes unless instructed, being lazy to ask questions related to material that is not understood, cheating on exams. Based on these problems, this research aims to innovate by providing information services through jigsaw techniques to improve students' learning skills. The method used is Quasi Experiment form Non Equivalent Control Group. The research subjects were 20 people in the experimental group and 20 people in the control group. The instrument used was a Likert scale model learning skills instrument and analyzed using the Shapiro Wilk technique and the Independent Sample test. The findings of this study are that there is a very significant difference in the experimental pre-test post-test and control pre-test post-test groups. Proven by the tcount value for paired 1 of -20.729 with a sig value. (2-tailed) 0.001 <0.05, while in paired 2 the tcount value is -12.170 where the sig value. (2- tailed) 0.001 < 0.05. This means that information services through the jigsaw technique are very influential in improving students' learning skills.
