Abstract
howtoreadtheQur'anandtheappropriatemethod.This researchfocusesonlearningtoreadtheQur'anforadults withtheimplementationoftheGriyaAl-Qur'anmethodin the taklim assembly. This research uses qualitative researchmethods with a phenomenological approach. This researchwas conductedatMajelisTaklimMasjid UmarbinAbdulAzizTembung.Throughthisresearch, it wasfoundthattheimplementationoftheGriyaAl-Qur'an method in learning the Qur'an includes planning, implementing learningabbreviatedas SUBUH(Salam, Repeat,Give,TestandHamdalah),andevaluationinthe formof oral and written tests. The obstacles to the implementation of the Griya Al-Qur'an method are internal obstacles that differ inabilityandage factors. External barriers are related to activities, time and learningmotivation.Thesolutiontotheseobstaclesis to straightenout sincere intentions, prayandmakeefforts beforeandafter learning.Theachievementof theGriya Al-Qur'anmethodbasedon thematerial is conditional, thenumberof participantswho succeed inreading the Qur'anaccordingtotherulesandthereisnopunishment inlearning.
