Abstract

Language learning, especially Arabic, cannot be separated from the existing problems. In order to be able to translate properly and correctly into Indonesian, students must master new mufrodat and grammar in Arabic. Therefore, it is necessary to develop Arabic textbooks to help students make it easier to understand learning Arabic. Selection of teaching materials in accordance with the material being taught is necessary so that learning is not boring or monotonous. Development in the form of existing produc ts developed with new updates or innovations. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of developing Mind Mapping-based Arabic textbooks for VII grade students. This study uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. While the data analysis technique uses descriptive. The steps for compiling textbooks consist of analyzing the books to be developed, developing Mind Mapping based textbooks, revising and looking at the feasibility of books. The results showed that the development of Mind Mapping-based Arabic teaching materials could be used for class VII students of MTS Ali-Imron Bandar Selamat.
