Abstract
The advancement of knowledge and technology is unable to be avoided in daily life. Learning media is a tool to deliver messages from teachers as messengers to the students as recipients. This study aims to determine what effective educational media can be used in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. This research served as a literature study essay. The data that is being analyzed consists of several articles from various mathematics journals that have been indexed by SINTA, between 2015 to 2022, with the primary focus on learning media for math education. There are fifteen aspects that are used as research tools. The results of the study showed that the effective media used is digital-based learning media. By the findings of this study, some recommendations for appropriate learning media to use throughout the teaching process have been made, including the use of computers, the internet, e-learning, social media, gaming applications, and virtual and augmented reality.
