Abstract
Because of the numerous formulas and calculations that are difficult to comprehend, mathematics is regarded as a subject that has a lower demand among students. Teachers only use books, LKS, and occasionally power points and slides as media. Students will experience boredom and passive attitudes as a result of their monotonous math instruction. Therefore, games-based learning (GBL) is one tool that can pique the interest and activity of students. This study aims to learn more about how games-based learning (GBL) affects learning activities for students. The literature review method, which is a research method with the goal of collecting and obtaining the core of previous research for subsequent analysis, is used in this kind of research, which takes a qualitative approach. The consideration standards in this review are the consequences of examination/survey of Games based learning science with Squid game and among us techniques to rudimentary/center school/secondary school understudies. Documentation is used in data collection methods, and the types of secondary data and descriptive analysis are used in the studies. Using the Squid game and other methods, the conducted literature review reveals that the application of mathematics games-based learning has a positive rimpact on students' learning. Students' increased enthusiasm for learning is evidenced by their actions, as learning activities become more enjoyable.
