Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine whether a type of Teams Game Tournament cooperative learning can improve student learning outcomes during Limited Face-to-face Learning Process (PTMT) takes place. This research was conducted in November 2021. The research location is in YPK Private Junior High School Medan. A total of 26 seven-class students were selected as the research object in this study. Observations, questionnaires and tests were used as data collection tools. The study used a classroom action research (CAR) approach, in which teachers act as researchers. The study was conducted in two cycles. From the results of the study, it was concluded that: 1) The Team Game Tournament model can make students more active in learning activities: 2) Learning using team game tournament mode can improve students' learning outcomes through proper time management.
