Abstract

The development research was based on the existing case in SMAN 13 Medan (Public Senior High School). The case encountered included the lack of websites using such as Animaker in mathematics learning. This research aimed to (1) develop a product in the form of math learning media with the Animaker on vector material, (2) find out the feasibility and practicality of the Animaker with validation tests by a material expert, media expert, teacher, and also obtain the students’ responses. This research used the model of ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The subject of the research was students of class X MIA 2 SMA Negeri 13 Medan. The results of this development research were the percentage forms of the scores validation test by the material and media experts. The percentage of the feasibility test obtained were 90.9% from the material expert, 80.5% from the media expert and 77.68% from the mathematics teacher. The practical result of learning media with the Animaker can be observed from the response questionnaires of the teacher and students. The research result showed that the learning media using the Animaker application was practical and feasible to use. The responses of the teacher and students showed positive reactions to the percentage of score results, obtained a teacher response of 80%, and 78% from the students’ responses.
