Rahmah Fithriani received her doctorate in Language, Literacy, and Sociocultural Studies, with a concentration on teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL) from University of New Mexico, USA. Her current research interests include feedback in L2 writing, emotions and L2 poetry writing, and the use of L1 in L2 learning and teaching.
