Abstract
The following discourse tries to investigate Islamic law and the verses of al-Quran and Hadis to be historical data. Shari’ah denotes the basic law that legislated by Allah and his prophet. It was historical events that happened in the past time. Al-Quran and Hadis, other than as a revelation and the stories of the prophet is also the historical data with a high level of data validity. Therefore, both have a resistance to internal criticism of historical data such as that developed recently by Leopold von Rangke. The discourse is expected to be use as an early review of the verses of al-Quran and Hadis to historical data
