Abstract

This research aims to identify the steps taken by Dai to prevent drug abuse in Teluk Panji City, Kampung Rakyat District, Labuhan Batu Selatan Region, to curb the increasing spread of narcotics among the people of Teluk Panji City. Teluk Panji City conducts courses on the risks of drug use like clockwork, and in joint efforts with evangelists and the National Narcotics Agency (BNN). This exploration was completed in Teluk Panji City, at the Teluk Panji City office. The strategy employed is a subjective expressive technique, involving data collection through field research, perception, meetings, and documentation. The results of the study indicate the process of evangelism in preventing chronic drug use in Teluk Panji City, which includes providing guidance on narcotics eradication, mental direction, speeches at religious gatherings, and reminders during Islamic events. These actions are intended to coordinate participation between Dai and the Teluk Panji city government. The obstacles to the implementation of the strategies used appear to remain unchanged.
