Abstract

This research was conducted to overcome the challenges in assessing customer eligibility at PT BPRS Amanah Insan Cita, an Islamic financial institution. To overcome this problem in the customer filter process, the K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) method is used for classification and prediction which is one of the effective data mining techniques in data classification, which aims to develop a classification model for customer lending eligibility using Data used in this study includes 150 customers with eight main attributes, such as gender, profession, monthly income, total debt, number of dependents, marital status, and asset value. The results showed the level of accuracy and reliability of the K-NN classification model in predicting the risk of customer lending at PT. BPRS Amanah Insan Cita which has been carried out using RapidMiner tools the accuracy value of the system on the classification of the accuracy of using the K-NN method on the feasibility of customer lending in sharia-based financial institutions, especially PT. BPRS Amanah Insan Cita accuracy of 0.9 (90%), precision for the feasible class of 0.92 (92%) recall for the feasible class of 0.92 (92%) and f1 score for the feasible class of 1.05 (105%) While for the unfit class the precision value is 0.80 (80%) the recall value is 0.80 (80%), and the f1 score value is 0.80 (80%).
